One of our clients is seeking Youth Care Workers to provide services in the Wilmington, DE area.
2nd Shift 2:00pm-10:00 pm. 3rd shift 10:00pm-8:00 am.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Provides continuous supervision and assistance to children and youth in residence
* Circulates through the shelter and knows where residents are at any given point in time
* Stays awake during shift unless given other instructions by the Program Director or Executive Director
* Performs and follows proper Intake procedures
* Ensures that the shelter is a warm, welcoming, safe, healthy, well-maintained facility, inside and
outside

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Possession of a bachelor's degree in the Behavioral Sciences; or possession of bachelor's degree in related field with 12 semester hours of course work in the behavior sciences; or any equivalent combination of acceptable education, training, and experience
* Minimum of 1 years experience working with children preferred.
* May encounter physical violence on part of residents and be called upon to break up fights.
* Responsible for lifting and carrying donations, groceries and/or residents' belongings.
