Our client is seeking a motivated professional to work as a Senior Case Manager for their facility in Bridgeton, NJ.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of:
o Modern principles of criminal justice, community corrections and therapeutic communities.
o Counseling and casework methods and techniques appropriate for offender population.
o Individual and group behavior of persons with criminal backgrounds.
o Custody and accountability standards for contracting agencies.
Ability to:
o To understand and comply with contract rules, regulations policies and procedures.
o Work with offenders to gain their confidence and cooperation.
o Participate as an effective member of a program team.
o Execute Contract Statement of Work regarding case management.
o Clearly express ideas orally and in writing.
o Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and residents.
o Communicate effectively with staff, residents, and agency representatives.
o Manage a flexible work schedule; and
o Maintain contracting agency clearance.
o Maintain have a valid drivers' license in good standing.
Client's Required Work and Academic Experience
This position requires a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or a Social Science and demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities with at least one year of relevant experience; and excellent computer skills including Windows and Word applications. Department of Corrections and Department of Parole clearances are required.
