Our Client is seeking Direct Support Professionals/Caregivers to provide support and care in a group home setting.
CLIENT'S LOCATION, AVAILABLE HOURS and COMPENSATION RATE
* Garland, TX
* Weekends 7a-7p and 7p-7a
* Long Term Independent Contracts and Flexible Hours available all shifts
*$15. per hour
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF OPPORTUNITY
* Assist persons with autism and other intellectual development disabilities. Support performance of daily living activities including but not limited to bathing, teeth brushing, and dressing.
* Assist with training activities as specified in Individual Support Plans (ISP) and activity schedules
* Provide supervision to ensure Individuals' safety and health care needs are not compromised
* Implement maladaptive behavior reduction program as specified by the behavior support plan, protocol or facility emergency procedures
CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
* Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent
* Possession of a valid Driver's License
* Verifiable experience working with developmentally disabled (preferred)
* Ability to satisfactorily complete and pass given background checks, negative TB test and drug screen
