Our client in Detroit is looking for a Mental Health Technician to care for adult and senior patients.
Working a 12hr. shift (7p - 7a), you are committed to person focused care, to perform routine patient care duties and selected non-professional services under the direct supervision of the Lead Nurse.
Qualified candidates must have:
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum of one-year college experience in Behavioral Health, Allied Health, Mental Health, Psychology or related field. If no college experience, must have at least one year of Behavioral or Mental Health Technician experience or applicable experience
• A minimum of 1 years' experience in Psychiatric setting/behavioral health or geriatric population is preferred.
• Ability to physically manage patients when necessary in a safe and therapeutic manner.
