Delta-T is looking for Registered Nurses to start February 1! AVAILABLE HOURS* Monday through Friday
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY* Manage and support schools with COVID situations and discrepancies (e.g., procedures, next steps, communication guidance).
* Follow up with student(s) and/or staff to offer support on testing and alternative health diagnosis to potentially decrease quarantine time.
* Track and report employees and students to communicate quarantine release dates more effectively and efficiently with schools.
* Enforce district protocols and procedures at schools (e.g., correct use of PPE, ensure that schools are utilizing the most up to date COVID memos).
* Serve as a health department liaison to troubleshoot COVID issues such as discrepancies guidance, unique COVID cases, etc.
* Collaborate with Employee Benefits and community partners to plan and implement student and staff vaccines and information sessions.
* Provide, log, and report COVID guidance for District Support Hub Offices
* Serve as the MNPS liaison to review MNPS events as it relates to implementing COVID protocols and procedures. (e.g., prom, graduation, banquets, theater arts presentations, sports related practices and games, etc.)
* Parent/guardian, community contact for COVID questions and MNPS requirements.
* Provide COVID testing for students and employees.
* COVID strike team for testing and assisting school nurses.
* COVID education
OTHER District Responsibilities:
* Administering student school immunizations
* Collecting and analyzing immunization data
* Auditing student immunization records, contact families and disseminate vaccine information.
* Collaborating with community partners to host, promote, oversee local school immunization clinics.
* Collaborate with school staff to promote, teach, distribute health education/lessons to students (i.e. hygiene, nutrition, blood pressure, exercise, bullying, etc.)
* Oversee and assist student blood pressure screenings at school sites.
CLIENT'S REQUIREMENTS & QUICK START PROCESS* Minimum of six (6) months of relevant experience
* Registered Nurse License in good standing in TN
* Nurses will attend first week paid orientation
* Meet mentor/preceptor to discuss expectations and details of assignment
