SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide high-quality lesson plans either provided by the Teacher in absence, Principal, or adapted to fit the curriculum if a plan is not provided
* Utilize positive management techniques to ensure good behavior & a safe learning environment
* Take attendance and document daily notes to provide useful feedback to regular class teachers
* Assign homework, manage classroom activities, and compile necessary reports
* Oversee students throughout the school building including the hallways and cafeteria
* Comply with all school regulations and policies at all times
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
* High School Diploma or GED Diploma (required)
* Classroom setting or experience working with children (preferred)
* Knowledge of effective teaching practices that ensure learning
* Passion for working with students
* Exceptional patience & adaptability
