CLIENT'S SUMMARY OF OPPORTUNITY
The Personal Care Assistant will accompany students for the full school day to assist with peer interactions and access to the educational environment. Assistance will include, but is not limited to:
* Friendly school setting
* Supervising and monitoring inclusive activities throughout the school day
* Ensuring student's safety within school building and surrounding areas
* Supporting student's academic, social, adaptive, communication, and behavioral needs
* Escorting students to and from bus, classes, nurse, therapies, etc.
* Utilizing behavioral system and providing prompts across settings
* Transitioning students between activities
* Supporting sensory/exercise program
* Helping the teacher facilitate technology in the classroom
* Competitive rate- Client offers up to $17/hr
CLIENT'S REQUIREMENTS
* Must possess a positive demeanor and demonstrate enthusiasm for supporting students and helping them navigate through academic and social challenges.
* Ability to maintain patience and take child's development stage into consideration
