One of our clients is seeking a medication assisted treatment counselor to provide services in Philadelphia.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Provide individual & group counseling that will enhance individuals' with substance abuse & mental health concerns quality of life through medication, connection with community resources and treatment planning services.
*Setting & assisting client'sin achieving treatment plan goals.
* Provide crisis intervention, 1-on-1 counseling & case management to individuals with addicitons & mental health concerns.
* Complete documentation and support medical services when needed.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Minimum of a Bachelors Degree, masters preferred.
* Minimum of one (1) year experience providing group facilitation, counseling or case management services for clients.
* Ability to complete and pass clearances: FBI, Child Abuse (ACT 126), and Criminal
* Must be able to produce current medical/health documents including: physical examination, Tuberculosis/TB Skin Test, CPR, and First Aid certification
* Experience in community based residential programs (preferred)
* Valid Driver's License
* Persons with experience in the following roles are welcome to reply Case manager, counselor, therapist, group facilitator, BSC.
