Our clients are currently seeking Caregivers and/or Residential Aides to provide care to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is an Independent Contractor role and is a client temp-to-perm negotiable opportunity. This role compensates weekly!
Our clients are seeking Residential Aides in the Northeast Philadelphia area for 2nd shift (2:30pm-11pm: Weekend availability is REQUIRED) OR power weekend schedules (7am-11pm). The client's hourly rate is up to $15/hr depending on contractor's qualifications, availability, and skill
Driver's License NOT required
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Provide compassion and emotional support to residents, ensuring all activities are designed and implemented with a goal of individual growth
* Assist residents with tasks they are unable to perform for themselves including cooking, bathing, dressing, and light housekeeping
* Provide companionship. Ensure all care and services are delivered in a climate of care and concern
* Transport individuals to appointments (as needed)
* Monitor residents' abilities and performance and make suggestions to care plans.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
* Proof of Vaccination
* Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent
* Minimum of one (1) year of verifiable caregiving or direct care experience
* Experience enriching the lives of persons with Intellectual Developmental Disorders (IDD)
* Experience working in, or supporting the personal care of adults i.e., bathing, dressing, and meal preparations
* Direct Support Professional (DSP)/Home Health Aide (HHA) are encouraged to register.
