Our Client is seeking Teacher Aides to provide service in Middletown, CT and the surrounding areas.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Promotes safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors in order to build a repertoire of communication, social interaction, and problem solving skills
* Increases the frequency or duration of safe and appropriate replacement behaviors through positive reinforcement
* Accurately collects and documents behavior data
* Establishes and follows treatment plan goals and interventions utilizing sound judgment and seeks out appropriate consultation
* Collaborates with family and treatment team members to provide treatment effectively

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field preferred
* ParaPro certification or 60+ hours of college level coursework preferred
* Experience with children who demonstrate behavioral challenges and/or have special needs including autism or medical fragility
* Willingness to complete PMT (restraint) training
* Satisfactory fingerprint background check
