The primary role of the Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA) is to provide first aid and support to students in Chicago.

This will be a M-F school based hours Schedule for the 23-24 School Year. No nights- no weekends- no on call!

CLIENT'S RESPONSIBILITIES
* Providing first aide care to students
* Collecting vital signs such as temperature, pulse, blood pressure, weight
* Giving medication
* Assisting with ambulation
* Watching students during recreation activities
* Serving as a transportation aide and providing emergency oral medications if needed
* Contacting parents regarding medical records
* Communicating information to parents
*Must be able to push/pull equipment such as wheelchanir
* Updating immunization and/or school physical information
* Ability to push/pull equipment such as a wheelchair

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Must possess possess a valid Nurse Aide Certification or Medical Assistant Certification
* Must be eligible on the IL Healthcare worker registry
* Covid Vaccinated
* Must have current BLS certification
* Ability to complete and pass Fingerprinting
* To provide services in the schools you must successfully complete all orientation classes
