One of our clients is seeking a Private Duty Nurse RN/LPN to provide service in Mongtomery County, MD. The Nurse should be delivering the highest-quality private duty nursing care to help the student live their best lives where they most want to be-at home.

Nursing Needs: G-Tube Feeding/Medication Administration/ Vent/ Trek

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
*The Private Duty Nurse will work one-on-one with each student based on the doctor's order, nursing care plan, and written agreements signed by each parent for each student
*The Private Duty Nurse will ensure that all medical orders are current and will apprise the agency when the student’s medical supplies and equipment need replenishing
*Nursing care assessments;
*Basic first aid;
*Wound care;
*Dressing changes; and
*Documentation and implementing of physician’s orders

CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
* Nurse must be licensed per the Board of Nursing to include successful completion of an accredited nursing program and passing the NCLEX exam;
* At least 3 references who can attest to competence of School Nurse
* Able to pass on the spot drug test
* Clean criminal background check
