Our client is searching for 1:1 Paraprofessional/Health Aides for long-term and per diem shifts to service students in the Bronx, NY area.

Monday through Friday
Hours vary depending on location, typically aproximately 8am-3pm
Compensation starting at $23.70/hour.
Duration: Shcool year

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma/GED
At least ONE of the following:
Health Aide Certification
Personal Care Aide
At least 1 year experience as a Paraprofessional with ability to get Letter of Recommendation.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
The below enumerated principal responsibilities are inclusive of both program specific and firm-wide related administration, as applicable.
1. Work with individual children or groups of children during instructional activities and special projects planned by the teacher.
2. Work cooperatively as member of team assisting in related instructional work as required; and assisting pupils in the use of available instructional resources and the development of instructional materials.
3. Provide information about the children that will assist the teacher in the development of appropriate learning experiences.
4. Assist the teacher with planning instructional activities and materials thereby utilizing their own special skills and abilities by assisting in instructional programs in such areas as: foreign languages, arts, crafts, music and similar subjects if assigned to a specific classroom for five (5) days or more.
5. Escort students throughout and outside of the building and outside of the classroom.
6. Attend team meeting conferences as appropriate.
7. Follow policies and procedures of school.
8. Perform other related duties as requested.
