SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
Our client is seeking Mental Health Advocates who will work within our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program. Advocates work closely with adults who have a history of severe mental illness, providing support to help them remain safely in their communities and reduce the risk of hospitalization or the need for intensive psychiatric services.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • $23+/hr

  • 1+ years of Mental Health Experience

  • Reliable transportation, Valid Driver's License and vehicle insurance required

  • Flexible Schedule

  • Ability to accommodate flexibility with team members who take turns in rotation for afterhour oncall responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, human resouces or Criminal Justice is required. Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP or/and CMHP) with specialized training or at least one year of experience treating or working with individuals with mental illness.
