Our client is seeking a Licensed Social Worker to work in Washington, DC.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide direct individual/family/group psychotherapy, case management, and care coordination support to youth with mental health, substance use and or co-occurring disorders
* Conduct initial intake evaluations or assessments to determine level of care needed and makes clinical recommendations and referral for services
* Provide crisis intervention to assist youth with maintaining safety in the least restrictive setting possible
* Regularly assess client progress and modify service plans as necessary/required
* Comply with all managed care guidelines and Department regulations for service delivery including court reviews, record documentation (Electronic Health Record), and administrative requirements throughout the behavioral health care treatment and process for youth and families

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Masters Degree in a clinical discipline such as Counseling, Psychiatric Social Work, Psychology, Art Therapy, Psychiatric Nursing, or other directly related clinical discipline, all of which required a clinical practicum involving diagnostic and treatment services, PLUS one-year post-Masters's degree experience providing clinical therapy and other mental health sercices, which may include the application of diagnostic and treatment services
* Must be Licensed in VA as LCSW/LPC/LSW
