Our Client is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work in Staten Island area.
Compensation: Starting at $17-$19 per hour

CLIENTS AVAILABLE HOURS
Assorted shifts available for part time and full schedule. Weekends are available. Must be flexible.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
*The Behavioral Health Residential Aide is responsible for providing instruction to individuals to promote intellectual, emotional, and social growth. As a Behavior Health Professional you will be working with the developmentally disabled population in a group home setting.
*Ensure all activities are designed to foster growth to each individual's highest level of accomplishment.
*Ensure all care and services are delivered in a climate of normalization, caring and concern.
*Assist consumers with their medications
*Assist with daily nutrition for consumers
*Transport consumers to appointment (as needed)
*Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal preparation.


*High school diploma or equivalent.
*Must have one year experience.
*Ability to complete and pass clearances.
*Tuberculosis testing is mandatory.
*CPR
*First Aid
*SCIP (Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention)
*AMAP (Approved Medication Administration Personnel) not required but helpful.
*Must be comfortable toileting.
