Full Scheduled role (Maternity Leave Coverage: April 27 - June 5) | Earn Up to $37/hr

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
The School Social Worker provides critical support to students' social, emotional, and behavioral well-being within the educational setting. The Social Worker collaborates with educators, families, and support staff to address barriers to learning, provide counseling services, and connect students and families with community resources. This role ensures compliance with state and federal regulations while supporting student success during the temporary maternity leave coverage period.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
• Current Michigan Social Work license (LMSW or LLMSW)
• Schoolbased or pediatric experience preferred
• Familiarity with IDEA, Section 504, and MTSS frameworks
• Provide individual and group counseling services to students
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning
• Conduct social/emotional assessments and crisis intervention as needed
