One of our clients is seeking an Occupational Therapist

CLIENT'S AVAILABLE HOURS/ROLE TYPE
Part Time Role (20 hours/week) | $75-$77hr

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
The OT supports the overall well-being of students with disabilities or developmental delays. They evaluate students’ needs, develop individualized intervention plans, and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure students have full access to the educational environment in accordance with state and federal regulations. This position requires the OT to travel between multiple school campuses as part of their regular responsibilities.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (or higher) from an accredited program
• Currently licensed to practice Occupational Therapy or as in the state of Texas
• Schoolbased or pediatric experience strongly preferred
• Evaluate students using district approved evaluation instruments and complete an evaluation report following district guidelines. (OT only)
• Provide occupational therapy services to individual students; consult with teachers, staff and parents on classroom interventions and techniques.
• Attend ARD/IEP meetings and complete ARD/IEP documentation in the district approved webbased ARD/IEP program
• Maintain accurate and complete data of services provided and student progress as required by the district. Follow guidelines for documentation and reporting of services for the basis of Medicaid reimbursement through the School Health and Related Services program. (SHARS)
• Maintain the duty hours of the assignment as determined by the department.
