SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S POSITION:
Our client is seeking a dependable and caring Bus Aide to assist in the safe and orderly transportation of students with special needs to and from school and related programs. The Bus Aide works alongside the bus driver to ensure that each student's physical, emotional, and behavioral needs are supported during transport.

LOCATION:
Positions are located in the Frankfort & Mokena area..

HOURS:
Varies based on assigned routes; typically morning and afternoon shifts aligned with school hours.

DESCRIPTION OF CLIENT'S DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Assist students in boarding and exiting the bus safely.
* Secure wheelchair, safety vests, or other adaptive equipment as needed.
* Monitor and support students' behavior throughout the route.
* Communicate effectively with the driver, school staff, and parents as appropriate.
* Maintain a calm and positive attitude in potentially stressful situations.
* Follow all transportation and safety procedures as directed by the client.

CLIENT REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
*Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs, preferred.
* Patience, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills required.
* Ability to lift or assist students when necessary.
