One of our clients is seeking Program Aides/Residential Staff in the Lincolnshire area to work with individuals with intellectual disabilities.

* Monday - Friday 7am-3pm
* Monday - Friday 3pm-11pm
* Saturday 7am-3pm & 3pm-11pm
* Sunday 7am-3pm & 3pm-11pm

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Assist with daily needed tasks which fall under kitchen, housekeeping and program needs.
* Assist with reinforcer set-up for clients; make coffee/tea, pour sodas, rinse coffee/tea pots.
* Assist with lunchroom duties; wash tables, plate lunches, set up water pitchers and lunch bags, assist clients with aprons.
* Assist with housekeeping duties; help to set-up tables/chairs for choice groups, clean sinks, toilets and mirrors, replenish paper products.
* Assist the program needs; assist in assigned core groups for activities, assist with client toileting.
* May be acted upon aggressively from clients; i.e., hitting, kicking, slapping, biting and punching.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* Verbal communication skills necessary to interact with clients and staff.
* Completion of client orientation and training program.
* Experience and/or willingness to work with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
* Ability to provide physical support to resident if they are unsteady or falling.
* Ability to lift 20 pounds.
* Ability to provide physical management procedures in conjunction with behavior programs as trained and assigned.
* Complete incident reports as necessary.
